Too Good to Resist: Cross-National Lesson Drawings for Urban Planning

:Abstract
The forces of liberasation and fast communication have altered the context of policy making within the planning policy and practice in many countries. Some believe that crossing boarders has positive consequences whilst others see that as a mean of exploitation and displacement. Conceptual learning requires distinctive translation of socio-material, coordination in functions and educational inability. In this article highlight of urban planning theory and practice of UK has been used to draw some transnational lessons for Iranian context. In the light of a research analysis, the possibilities and barriers to cross-national lesson drawings in urban planning procedure are discussed. It concludes that despite the differences in their context, implementing the transferable lessons is more recommended than challenging the issue prematurely
